Borderline Personality Disorder is a severe mental illness characterized by an overwhelming fear of abandonment, an uncontrollable loathing of one's self, and a huge struggle with self-identification. BPD affects 2% of adults, with a high rate of para-suicidal behavior. Also, 10% of Borderlines complete suicide. This disease often goes hand in hand with depression and other personality disorders, all of which are all too common in our society. This Tumblr is a place where anyone struggling with BPD, or any other mental inhibition, can turn for support and solidarity. Loneliness is a very common worse fear, so let's defeat it by coming together! At this time, no cure for BPD has been discovered, so let's brainstorm, share, and work towards the cure. Love.
